The Grim Adventures of Billy & Mandy, also known simply as Billy & Mandy, is an American animated supernatural comedy television series created by Maxwell Atoms. It was produced by Cartoon Network Studios for Cartoon Network. It ran from 2003 to 2007, airing a total of 84 episodes that spanned six seasons. It also had two TV movies, and a post-series spin-off movie, Underfist: Halloween Bash, in 2008.
The series follows the exploits of an idiot, happy-go-lucky boy named Billy; a cynical, cold-hearted girl named Mandy; and a Jamacian-accented Reaper named Grim, who became permanently stuck as the two kids' friend after losing a limbo game over the livelihood of Billy's pet hamster. Grim has access to supernatural items, spells, and other abilities that often leave Billy and Mandy to interact with the supernatural in one way or another.
Billy & Mandy originated as segment on Grim & Evil, from which it was a spin-off, along with sister series Evil Con Carne, in 2001.
