Behind the scenes
- The episode title is a play on the English author Agatha Christie's novel And Then There Were None.
- The space battle at the beginning calls back to a similar scene at the start of Star Wars: Episode IV – A New Hope, involving a battle between the Rebel Alliance and the Galactic Empire.
- Vilgax's damaged body which has left him needing to wear a breathing mask does also bear similarities to the film's main villain, Darth Vader.
- Cash and JT are modelled after Sam Register and Tramm Wigzell, respectively.
- Cash and JT are unnamed in this episode and the end credits simply refer to them as "Bully #1" and "Bully #2," respectively. They aren't identified by name until their second appearance, "The Unnaturals."
- Jamie's name on the other hand, isn't identified on-screen, either, but is credited as such.
- The Rustbucket's vanity plate reads "S81Z1M."
- On the highway, there is a sign for Johnsonville, although there are several Johnsonvilles in America, and Bellwood is an undefined state.
Errors
- Oddly enough, one of Gwen's insults towards Ben is to refer to him as Tennyson, which is her own name.
- Ben mentions that he can turn into ten aliens, although through transformations and dial pictures, only seven has been revealed to the audience. Ben must've seen all ten off-screen.
- Contrary to the above the above spelling, the end credits actually spell "bully" as "bullie."
- Diamondhead is credited as "Diamond Head."
Connections
- In "Gwen 10," we are shown what would happen if Gwen found the Omnitrix, instead.
- A worried Ben thinks the first use of the Omnitrix has ruined his chances of trying out for Little League, which he does in "The Unnaturals."
- In "Secrets," Grandpa Max's knowledge of Heatblast being an alien is elaborated on when it is revealed that he was part of a retired organization known as the Plumbers that dealt with alien threats.
- In "The Visitor," Xylene is revealed to be the pilot of the mysterious ship engaged in battle with the Chimeran Hammer, and had intended for the Omnitrix to be found by Grandpa Max.
- There is the two-parter Ben 10: Omniverse episodes called "And Then There Were None" and "And Then There Was Ben."
- The latter retconned events so that Ben got the Omnitrix because reality was manipulated by Professor Paradox and No Watch Ben.
- Jamie, the boy who is bullied by Cash and JT, reappears again when Ben returns to school in "Goodbye and Good Riddance."
